Buddha's four noble truths:

1) Life is suffering
2) The origin of suffering is attachment
3) The cessation of suffering is attainable
4) The path to the cessation of suffering is eightfold

The noble eightfold path:

1) Right view
2) Right intention
3) Right speech
4) Right action
5) Right livelihood
6) Right effort
7) Right mindfulness
8) Right concentration

Bodhisattva - An enlightened being who, out of compassion, forgoes nirvana in order to save others.

I'll talk to a few GIs from Ft. Bragg, coordinate a meeting of Military Families Speak Out on Saturday and correspond with an antiwar GI in Baghdad.

I will do my daily meditation. Study dharma and reflect on my own tendencies to aggression. Try to get more educated about what is really going on in the government. Talk to my grandchildren about racism and selflessness. Connect with all of you good people who are actually out there doing something.

Ask at least one person to join this group.

Just got back from the UK Stop The War Coalition's regional meeting in Manchester, very informative and educating. Getting ready for the build up to the G8 summit now.

I think a lot of issues are related, good that we have this group. (Anti-War)
I think another big issue is poverty as in many poverty stricken countries there are often warring factions.
I have started another group.

Tomorrow I'm going to a 'Friends of Palestine' meeting, again just to check it out.
