I was hoping this group would be a planning committee, for unified action to help end the war. Sadly not so.

Also your lead in quote is insulting to our young soldiers and ridiculos.

"The pioneers of a warless world are the young men who refuse military service."

Having no military might, is as deadly as the willful miss-use of it.

Ka-Boom.

Wow! That was in poor taste... But you're here, and free to have such bad judgment, in part because my son has your back. As did my brothers, my father, and my grandfather, before him. I notice you're a real joker in the forums. You sure have a lot of free time.

Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers (part 1 of 8)

"Private contractors are getting rich while everybody else is suffering: This is the point director Robert Greenwald makes -- passionately -- in this 2006 documentary. Using whistleblower testimony, firsthand accounts, financial records and classified documents, Greenwald levels charges of greed, corruption and incompetence against private contractors and shows the subsequent devastating effect on Americans and Iraqis."

#3 you are in the wrong forum, my fiend.

Or, in other words, this group is anti war.
It's not about stopping war or bringing heroes back home.
It's ANTI-WAR.

NO WAR!

IF YOU ARE AT WAR, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

War. Huh What is it good for?

Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible.

Bring our troops home!

I don't get it, unless you mean only one side of a war has no military might. If both sides have nothing, how are they supposed to fight? So how is that quote ridiculous?

ZippywomanJun 15, 2007 6:50pm
Well,
My interptation in our involment with Iraq is that it would be deviation from the norm to bring our troops home, because progress is not possible.
Peace
P.S. My spelling is off tonight-

What progress is possible? We start a war on terrorism in the country that did not have anything to do with 911. Even though that was Dubbyas excuse to go to war.He talks about the atrocities Saddam created. Without mentioning it had been going on since he was put in control. We have done nothing but depose a man who we helped put in charge in the first place. If you believe this war is about more then profit you better take a closer look at who owns the top corporations profiting off the war.

This war has been a failure from it's inception. He went to war without congress (I think thats illegal somewhere? ;P). Instituted the most horrific act ever to be passed . Stripping EVERYONE of EVERY right they had. Dissolved habeas corpeous and just recently put in his own king clause.

Yet your are still willing to blindly follow his word(beacuse you wont be following him. Or his or any of the other upper echelon's children. They don't have to go to war) about what is going on. Even though he has been cought in lie after lie ?

Were spilling our children's blood to line the pockets of others with money is all that is going on now. It sickens me.

Now I do agree with you on 1 thing. ANYONE who thinks total disarmament of the USA will do anything but get us stomped is living in the clouds. Yes I agree if ALL of it was abolished the world would be a much better place. But this is the real world and we do need our military.

What we need to see right now is a schedule of drawbacks. While bringing their police forces back into patrols. Then actual foreign policy work would be applicable. There are many reasonable solutions. More death is not one of them

9: Saddam Hussein was a CIA asset who went rogue and tried to sell its oil in Euros instead of dollars.

the dollar needs to be devalued anyway, so China will start buying our stuff and we can climb out of debt.
